Conway, Ark.-The men's tennis team opened the 2022 spring season Saturday against Hendrix College in Conway.

The Eagles dropped the match 8-1 against their NCAA III opponent. The Eagles lost No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, but posted a win at the No. 3 position. Kao Lenkopane and Perry Guidry had a 8-7 win at No. 3. Hendrix swept all six of the singles matches, but put up a good fight. At No. 2 singles, Elijah Pierce defeated Joshua Wilde 2-6, 6-3, 10-4. At No. 4, Cason Cole defeated Kao Lenkopane 6-2, 5-7, 10-6 and at No.  5, Matias Ancieta escaped with a win (6-7, 6-4, 7-5).over TJ Saniseng. 

The Eagles will play Dallas Baptist in Conway February 11.
