Hall of Fame
Carl Ramsey was an outstanding high school girls basketball coach at Lamar (Ark.) High School for nearly 30 years. From 1980 to 2009, Ramsey compiled an overall record of 660-227 (.744) and led the Lady Warriors to two state championships (1988 and 1991). He sent numerous players to the collegiate ranks and was voted the Conference Coach of the Year 10 times. 19 of his teams produced more than 20 wins. He also coached nine seasons at Ozarks before retiring in 2018. He won a combined 730 games at Lamar and U of O. He was the 2011 ASC East Division Coach of the Year and in 2020 was inducted into the Arkansas High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
