University of the Ozarks

Marcus Hampton was a star on the men's basketball team in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was named to the AIC All-Freshman team in 1989 helping the Eagles win the AIC title. He was named to the All-AIC team in both 1990 and 1991. He held the school's career assist record for more than 25 years and is currently No. 3 in career assists (359) and 16th iin career scoring with over 1,000 career points. He led the Eagles to an 18-11 record and a third-place finish in the AIC as a senior.
